It all started in the early 2000's I loved collecting porcelain dolls as a child so I started an evening course in Poplar East London making porcelain dolls.

Some time after (roughly 2011)  I discovered reborn dolls well more Ashton Drake dolls first then reborns so I self taught to reborn sourcing materials from UK, Poland, Ukraine, France, etc.  With time and patience progressed as time went along. Hadn't been straightforward you make mistakes but also learn by them.

People can find reborns 'freaky' was one persons reaction but for me the painting is very therapeutic and end up lost in my thoughts whilst reborning lol.  People collect them for comfort, therapy for loss of a child or people with autism also become attached to dolls. Some just love collecting for the sake of it and some really helps with their mental health. Some people with Alzheimer's that have been presented with dolls has rekindled motherly responses.

I don't make as many as I would like to but reborning allows me to work around my health issues.
